In addition to a solid level of fitness, this ideally requires an expert guide, which we can offer with Markus Rosenauer - a long-standing friend of our hotel.

Markus Rosenauer  is an enthusiastic mountain biker and certified hiking guide - he will be happy to show you his insider tips around our Lindenhof, which are perfect for exploring by bike or on foot. He has created three wonderful day tours that are enjoyable and offer stunning views.

SUSTAINABLE & EXCITING - BIKE & HIKE WEEKENDS 2026

By bike to the alpine pastures and on foot to the summit crosses

June 18 to June 21, 2026, or September 24 to September 27, 2026

This offer is aimed at all sustainability-minded and cycling enthusiasts. Leave your car behind and still enjoy daily excursions at over 2,000 meters above sea level.

After a breakfast featuring regional products, we set off daily on e-bikes along forest and cycle paths, climbing 800–1,400 meters to the surrounding alpine pastures. There we park our bikes and climb on foot to the summit crosses with their panoramic views. Of course, we stop at rustic huts and refreshment stops before cycling back down into the valley. After the day's tour, the Lindenhof Seebad on the 24°C warm Brennsee lake awaits us with cool drinks or the hotel's wellness area. In the evening, the hotel's award-winning cuisine spoils us with a five-course gourmet menu and we end the day with an Aperol Spritz on the terrace. "3 peaks and 3 lakes" – what more could you want?
