Our chef Martin Schretter and his team were again awarded in the Slow Food Guide Carinthia 2027. The Lindenhof cuisine is therefore once again among the best in Carinthia. Martin loves what is regional and manages to combine traditional and modern elements into unique dishes.

He likes to purchase ingredients from farmers, hunters and producers in the valley and can chat to you about dishes and recipes in old cookbooks. All Lindenhof guests enjoy his Slow Food cuisine, in both the daily evening menu and the à la carte dining rooms.

For gourmets who like to dedicate a whole evening to dining, he will also conjure up unforgettable taste journeys of several courses with accompanying wine (prior booking required).

The small village of Feld am See is inextricably linked to its lake and mountains. The Landhotel Lindenhof also has a deep-rooted connection with cycling. You’ll always find someone from the family here, and if you like, you can even take your bike up to your room in its own bag. That really took us by surprise!

The excellent cuisine of the gourmet restaurant is another highlight you can take up to your room with you. Long-standing head chef Martin Schretter is joined in the kitchen by junior chef Lorena Nindler. Whether it’s a pink-centred slice of Carinthian veal sirloin or something a little more international, such as the vegetable wontons, everything comes together beautifully.

At times, the service seems a little overwhelmed, but we’re on holiday, we have time, and the warmth and friendliness of everyone more than make up for it.
