Exercise away from the pistes, climb up the snowy slope with even steps, enjoy the landscape around you and look forward to skiing downhill in deep snow.

Apart from good basic fitness, this also requires skiing skill, suitable equipment and knowledge about winter in the mountains.

The host Hannes Nindler has also discovered a love of this wonderful winter sport and will be happy to show you the leisurely Carinthian winter. At Feldpannalm, you have beginners' terrain right on your doorstep. Over rolling peaks and through snowy winter forests, you will reach an altitude of over 2100 metres.

LOCAL TOUR TO Wöllaner Nock

Hannes recommends the local tour to Wöllaner Nock: from Lindenhof it is best to take a 4WD with good winter tyres to Feldpannalm, where you park by Wegerhütte and from the car park head right towards Tobitscher Alpl.

On an elevation, you already have a wonderful view into the distance towards Dobratsch and the Julian Alps. It then continues a bit steeper over Kleiner Nock to Wöllaner Nock.

From the peak cross, you can enjoy a breathtaking distant view - even as far as Großglockner on clear days. Wöllaner Nock is very exposed to the wind. A lovely powdery downhill leads back to Feldpannalm - which will be revealed to you by Hannes when you are there.
