Accommodation and Amenities
Our hotel reception is staffed for you daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you arrive later, the staff at our hotel bar will be happy to assist you in a limited capacity. The hotel is open until approximately 11:00 p.m. From 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., a telephone service is available for emergencies.
There are no minibars in the rooms. However, you are always welcome to store personal items that need to be kept cool with us at the hotel for safekeeping.
Yes, fast Wi-Fi is available to you throughout the entire Landhotel Lindenhof. Internet access is free of charge for our guests in all rooms as well as throughout the lobby area.
Hand and bath towels for the spa area are provided free of charge at the hotel. Cosy bathrobes can be rented at reception for a fee of €6.00 for your entire holiday stay.
Our rooms are cleaned daily – unless you consciously decide to forgo cleaning for sustainability reasons, in order to jointly conserve resources such as water and cleaning agents.
Yes, our fine spa area offers you pure relaxation in the Carinthian Nock Mountains:
A traditional Finnish sauna, a gentle herbal sauna, a steam bath and two infrared cabins open all day.
A small but exquisite wellness pool with an integrated floor whirlpool and a pleasant water temperature of 32 °C (open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., saunas from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).
Your four-legged friends are warmly welcome with us! Out of consideration for all guests, however, dogs are not permitted in the spa area or the main dining hall. On our cosy terraces and in the rustic restaurant parlours, though, your dogs are very welcome guests.
Yes, a comfortable, heated room for skis, ski boots and snowboards is available for your winter sports equipment at the hotel, so that your gear is warm and dry for the slopes the next morning.

Room with breakfast: Regional breakfast specialities from the buffet.
Slow Food half board: Includes an exquisite 5-course evening menu with sustainable ingredients from the region. In addition, our gourmet parlour provides you with an excellent à la carte restaurant on site.
Our extensive breakfast buffet is available for you daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. As part of our half board, we invite you to be seated in the evening between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. to begin your menu.
Yes, vegan nutrition is close to our hearts. As part of our Slow Food half board, our kitchen creates a wholesome, vegan menu option for you every day.
Our award-winning gourmet parlour is open for your enjoyment at the following times:
Summer season (10 May to 30 September): Wednesday to Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Winter season (25 December to 6 January): Daily from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Radlerei is our cosy in-house corner shop (a small mom-and-pop store) where you will find everyday essentials and regional products. It is open for you daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Yes, you can store your luggage with us completely free of charge both before check-in and after check-out, so that you can make the most of your holiday day in Feld am See.
Families are warmly welcome with us! We offer spacious family studios and family rooms for two adults and up to three children. Please note that we do not offer in-house childcare, entertainment programmes or children's play areas. However, the Sonnenschein Card is included, which provides a great outdoor activity programme for young and old.
Children are warmly welcome throughout the pool area and can enjoy the 32 °C warm water. However, we ask for your understanding that the sauna area, as a nude and quiet zone, is reserved exclusively for adults.
Our exclusive 2,500 m² lakeside bathing area is located on the quiet side of Lake Brennsee and is only an 8-minute walk (or 3 minutes by bike) from Landhotel Lindenhof. It offers you showers, lockers, sun loungers, parasols and stand-up paddle boards (SUP). For bicycles, there is a secure bike parking area on site and a separate access route for cyclists down to the lake.
The idyllic Lake Brennsee reaches approximately 21 °C from May and in September. In high summer (June, July and August) it reaches a pleasant water temperature of approximately 24 °C and is perfect for swimming.
Yes! Since 2004 we have been a certified member of Mountainbike Holidays & Gravelbike Holidays with the highest certification, PROfessional. Around 50% of our guests come to us for our absolute biking expertise, but hikers and those seeking to unwind also feel completely at home with us.
The bike package includes a Nockbike water bottle, daily laundry service for your sportswear, electrolyte drinks available to help yourself to in the bike room, and daily tour advice from the head of the house & bike guide Hannes Nindler.

A small workshop with tools for quick repairs. Larger repairs are handled by Armin's bike workshop, 4 km away.
Right across from our hotel in Feld am See, a hotel-owned bike course with berms, pumps and drops awaits you, where you can perfect your riding technique.
Yes, through our rental partner Armin's Bikeverleih in Radenthein. You can simply select and reserve your desired bike (mountain bikes, road bikes and gravel bikes) and have it delivered to the Lindenhof free of charge. We recommend reserving in advance.
Absolutely! 10 signposted bike tours start directly from the hotel (you will find the details in our online tour database), as well as countless hikes into the Nock Mountains. You will receive personal hiking tips and maps directly on site.
In summer: As part of the Sonnenschein Card, there is a varied programme with hikes and taster sessions for various sports (surfing, sailing, tennis). Sports courses are offered by the outdoor experts of the Krainer Sports School.
In winter: Skiing in the World Cup ski region of Bad Kleinkirchheim, ski touring weekends, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking in the Nock Mountains or ice skating directly on the frozen Lake Brennsee.
The Bad Kleinkirchheim / St. Oswald World Cup ski region, with 100 kilometres of slopes, is 10 km away. A free ski bus departs directly from Landhotel Lindenhof and takes you to the Kaiserburg valley station in just 20 minutes.
In the neighbouring town of Radenthein, only 3 km away, you will find various supermarkets and two pharmacies. Everyday essentials are also available directly with us at the hotel in the Radlerei.
Your room is available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. (check-out time).
A late check-out is very gladly possible, subject to availability. In any case, on the day of departure you can store your luggage, go for another bike tour and shower afterwards in the spa area.
To settle your hotel bill, we accept Mastercard, Visa, debit cards (bank cards) and cash payment.
Yes! Lindenhof guests enjoy exclusive benefits and receive a 15% discount on ski passes for the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski region directly at our hotel reception.
By train, you can travel to the stations Spittal an der Drau or Villach (approximately 25 km away). From there, a bus runs to Feld am See every hour – at weekends approximately every two hours. The journey time from Graz is approximately 2 hours, from Vienna approximately 4 hours.
Three airports in the surrounding area are available for your arrival by air:
Klagenfurt Airport: 60 km away / 45 minutes' driving time.
Ljubljana Airport: 130 km away / 1.5 hours' driving time.
Salzburg Airport: 170 km away / 2 hours' driving time.
Unfortunately, the public buses do not carry bicycles. You can easily solve this problem with a pre-booked station shuttle directly to our hotel.
A short-stay parking zone applies in the town centre of Feld am See. There are 5 parking spaces directly at the Lindenhof. Our large hotel car park with 25 spaces is located on the B98 main road and is only a 2- to 3-minute walk from the Lindenhof.
Yes, two charging stations are available directly at the Lindenhof exclusively for our Lindenhof guests. The electricity price for charging your electric car is €0.49 per kilowatt hour (kWh).
