By the end, the display showed 310 kilometres and 6150 altitude metres. We had experienced, laughed and pedalled a lot and gained a glimpse of the First World War - in a way that could not have been told better for a mountain biker.
The group from four nations will remain memorable and even the rainy days were not so bad :). However, you have to like trails if you embark on this tour, because without experience and a passion for this aspect of biking, your enjoyment will no doubt be curtailed.
